The Calm before storm #3
Believe it or not, we have been hammered by three major winter storms in the past two weeks. Total accumulation is over two feet of snow. However it is the drifting that is causing most of our problems. Most drifts are over my knees and some are even over my waist. I have to dig out the small human door and the big front door of the barn several times because the wind insists that the snow should be there.
6 Toe oversees Carl's plowing. This was taken between storm #2 and storm #3.
The snow is as tall as Kali! This is taken at the edge of the Hayfield after storm #3. Carl plowed a path for the horses to get their paddocks.
Gummy Bear and I take a stroll in the hayfield before storm #3.
Stay tuned, we might get storm #4 this weekend.
