Wait! It's almost June!?

We definitely have not been sleeping around here! Well, with the exception of 5 Toe.

Flowers are blooming, the hay is ready to be cut and many projects are underway. And it all started with the renovation of the outdoor wash stall. Carl completely re-worked the drainage, sides and platform so now we can wash off a horse with out worrying about puddles.

What a difference! We even created a new dog area behind the wash stall complete with a doghouse and baby pool.  Other projects consist of a new boarder stall, new paddocks, a garden, and maybe a adding a few run-in sheds. Now on to the horse news!!

I took Jack to his first jumping show. Waiting around for his classes he did get nervous, however once we entered the ring he was great! The jumping was held in an indoor and sadly the pictures did not turn out. I was extremely proud of Jack; he was very brave over the jumps and did not hesitate for a second. One of my boarders came along with her horse and we had a blast!

She is so pretty with her mane braided!

In other horse news, Gummy is officially broke and doing wonderfully! He trots happily along and needs a little more practice cantering with me aboard. Jack is becoming a wonderful school horse. Everyone who rides him just loves him. We are planning on attending a few more shows this summer and maybe even finding a new horse to help out with lessons. I feel as if it will be busy, yet wonderful summer. Mostly because we keep finding these...
