Round Two will start tonight.
We will get 6 to 9 inches over the next two days. Yuck! I think I am officaly tired of the snow. However Carl enjoys using the tractor to clear the driveway so at least he will have something to look forward to.
Poor 6 Toe! The morning after all the snow, 6 Toe tried to get to the door before me and quickly realized that it was not a good idea. After backtracking, he waited for me to go thru the drift (which was up to my knees) and then he followed in my footsteps. I did wish that 6 Toe or Kali could have helped open the frozen door.
After spending two days in the barn, the horses seemed to have a good time once they got out. It is always fun to watch them roll, run and play in the deep snow.
This is one of those pictures that made me laugh out loud when I was reviewing what I had shot that day. I love the snow all over Snickers face and that his tongue is sticking out. He could not wait to roll, after only walking a few steps away from me, Snickers plopped down right by me.

Brutus (purple blanket) and Snickers (red blanket) playing in the snow. It was fun watching the two thoroughbreds race each other. If you are wondering, Snickers won!
Rio had major drifts in his turnout. It took him a while to figure out that he could play in them! He had more fun pawing with his foot and pushing the snow with his nose rather then rolling and running. Goofy horse.
Kali had lots of fun jumping over the plowed snow at the bottom of the driveway. She did have trouble choosing between jumping in the snow or eating it! Look at those ears.
