Kali is such a good dog for allowing me to pose her in some fun outfits. On a day where the weather was below freezing and raining out, I decided to get a few pictures of Kali. I still cannot believe that she just sat there while I tried several outfits on her. And yes she got lots of treats after the photo shoot.
Even with the weather being up and down for the last few weeks, we have been super busy with many small projects and a few large ones. The biggest project to be completed is getting electricity to the paddocks. This allows us to have a heater in each water tank. We ( I should say Carl) also completed a shavings bin, an outdoor light over the barn door and a heat lamp for Tar's stall.
The new shavings bin complete with a new wall to help me stay more orginized.
Tar really likes his new heat lamp. Thanks to a friends suggestion, his lamp helps keep Tar nice and warm on those really cold nights. Even though he has a really fuzzy coat, it is difficult for Tar to keep warm because of his old age. The heat lamp has made a huge difference. Even Rio (Tar's neighboring stall) takes advantage of the lamp! Often in the mornings I find both of them standing under it.

Not much can stop us from teaching and riding on a sunny fall day. As long as the ground allows we are out there enjoying the horses.
