I've been a busy boy.  I managed to edit all of Barb's old entries, editing it so that only the first few lines show up so that the blog page is not totally cluttered and making the formatting uniform.  To compensate for the shorter posts on the initial page and the fact that the link to the full post was hard to find I hacked the code in the backend to add a link that says something like "click here to read more". 

Awesome.  I changed the graphics for the logo, created the pretty little collage you see in the top right of your browers, which necessitated changing the little buttons that make the font bigger or smaller (those "A"s in the bottom right of the graphic).  Unfortunately clicking those does not currently change the font size of the blog, but hopefully I can get to that tomorrow.

 

I also added tags!  Double plus extra awesome.  So if you want to see all the posts with horses, you click the horses tag (the post two down is an example of this).  Joomla has been good to us!  I've categorized all the posts from the last year since we started the website, now it's up to you guys to keep Barb in line and make sure she keeps up with it!

There are a few more annoyances related to the formatting of the webpage, but I'm hopeful that I'll have everything fixed up soon.  Looking forward to another year with you all.
