And I am not just talking about how fast this summer is moving. Mother Nature decided to show off again this year with an unexpected thunderstorm at 4 am with winds up to 100 miles per hour. Let's not forget the light show with nonstop lighting lasting a good 20 minutes. Needless to say we had several trees damaged, a few shingles that decided to move to the front yard, sideways sunflowers and a visit from the neighboring feed stores' sign. Yikes!!

Fortunately all the animals were unharmed. We were just left with a huge mess to clean up the following day.
