So introducing Shallow Hill's newest addition........
Heeza Gummy Bear
Heeza Gummy Bear, AKA Gummy, is a 5 year old POA pony. He stands just over 13 hands high and arrived at Shallow Hill in the beginning of March. POA, or Pony of the Americas, is a breed that I have come across a few times. I have enjoyed working with them in the past so I went and got myself one.
Gummy is super sweet guy that loves people. He is young and green, but given his nature I am sure with training he will turn into a wonderful kid's pony.
Gummy meets Rio
This was taken shortly after Gummy's arrival. He and Rio became insta-friends! They spent the day running and playing, then grooming each other.
Can I keep it?
Kali found a treasure after the ferrier was here. She carried it around most of the day and I could not resist snapping a picture after she brought it into the house. And yes, the hoof trimming quickly found the garbage after this was taken.
With the super nice weather March has given us, the barn has been buzzing. Lessons are on and people are riding after a crazy cold winter. I have a feeling this is going to be one fun, busy summer!!!
