The end of June is proving to be extra crazy busy. Lucky for me, I have wonderful In-laws that drove down from the far northeast corner of Ohio to help clean up this place. They arrived Friday night and immediately started trimming and weeding the flowers in the front of the house. On Saturday, after a trip to the Home Depot, we finished the trimming then took a detour to see my Sis-In-Law's new house on the other side of Columbus. On Sunday we dog proofed the back porch, fixed all the screens that Hermes' had decided to "open" and added screen doors. On Monday we attacked the lawn and created three flower beds. Once the beds are filled in, everything is mulched and the gravel is spread out, this place should start looking pretty spiffy. Before the In-Laws left, Dad In-law took a spin on the tractor. It was fun to see him figure out how to operate the bucket. I never would have guessed that the tractor would attract free labor!!! Now Bro-In-Law wants to come down and give it a try.

OH YEAH, during this whole time we got to watch truck load after truck load of sand arrive for the riding ring!! That project should receive its done stamp shortly. The footing is almost done, and then we need the fencing. When finished the outdoor ring will be 120 feet by 80 feet with a new paddock attached on two sides
